Work overload and I don't like ads

Crunchtime at work so I haven't had the time to do things to the blog over the past few days.
I added Google Ads to the sidebar as a test to see what kind of ads. And i must say that they are very ugly and uninteresting. I tried to tweak them around to show programming related things, but all I got was some strange server ads.
I'm now working on the admin section and turning everything into a template.
My plan for this blogging system is really simple
- A practice for me in building something. And finishing it.
- To create a "Simple Site Shell". Something that can be dropped into a directory to create a simple site. And act as a shell to hand craft a site around.
- Open Source it.
If you have any ideas and comments? I'd love to hear them.

> And i must say that they are very ugly and uninteresting.I think Jeff talked about how bad Google ads are in terms of actually being relevant to the page contents awhile back, and although not having experience with using them myself, from what I see of them they can match really strange and irrelevant ads sometimes.

I think that's a really interesting point: doing something and not finishing it. Unfortunately I do that all the time and I don't think I am alone!
