Bye bye Stack Overflow

Last night I decided to stop using Stack Overflow.
The reasons have nothing to do with the quality of the system itself. Stack Overflow is a great platform and will serve it's users for a long time.
For the past few months I've been using the system less and less, specially the programming section of SO, and hanging more on Meta answering the lost souls who entered that strange place.
But recently I've felt that to get the most out of the system, I need to spend more and more dedicated time refreshing the tags I know and competing with more and more brilliant people. So with school taking more and more time away from me and of course having a 2 year old, you have very little time to other things.
I've also felt that I'm not getting as much from the system as I used to. Back in the day I used to learn so much from all these great questions, and now they are few and far between. I hope it's because I know more now than I did before.
I've connected with a lot of great people that I will of course stay in touch with and I think that's the best thing that came out of all this.
I will keep my account active and who knows if I'll return later, but until then.

Your contributions on SO and Meta will be missed. It's always sad to see prominent members of your online communities leave, or even step down their participation, but it sounds like you've got your priorities straight. Good luck in school, and have fun with your family.
